Martha Isabel Morales is a seasoned psychotherapist and counsellor, bringing over three decades of comprehensive experience to her practice. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of therapeutic methodologies, including EMDR, CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, EFT, specialized training in couples therapy, and the neuroscience of trauma and anxiety. Martha’s approach is holistic, deeply informed by her certification as an EMDR-CT is enriched by her studies in Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal Theory.

With a profound commitment to facilitating individual and couple’s growth, Martha’s work is characterized by a compassionate focus on helping her clients confront obstacles, cultivate self-awareness, and foster healthier relationships. Her therapeutic practice is further distinguished by her personal journey overcoming challenges including trauma-bond, anxiety and ADHD, providing her with unique insights into the processes of developing coping skills, resilience, and self-soothing techniques.

Her academic achievements include a thesis on couples therapy and Attachment Theory, alongside a certification in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, reflecting her deep understanding of relationship dynamics. Martha leverages neuroscience to harness the mind-body connection, incorporating EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems into her practice to support her clients’ goals effectively.

Martha is dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with anger, trauma, CPTSD, identity, self-acceptance, self-esteem, depression, General Anxiety Disorder, substance use and addiction, grief and loss, and challenges in communication within relationships. Additionally, her practice is a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals seeking support for living authentically and confidently.
