Deep Respect for Women’s Anger — Our individual counselling and group sessions for women focus on healing anger in a safe and supportive environment. Women and men face different challenges when it comes to anger.
Men are often encouraged to express their anger while women are often judged for it.
Women are taught to suppress all their anger, which is harmful for both mental and physical health.
In our Healing Anger Groups for Women, we offer a safe and supportive space where women can learn to relate to their anger in a positive and constructive way.
We have a team of therapists, including a number of highly skilled women therapists that are ready to work with you and your specific situation. They have lots of experience.
- When women attend our groups or counselling they gain:
- Being in a group of caring, compassionate women intent on personal growth.
- Knowledge of how our physiology experiences fight or flight and how to regulate this.
- Understanding around how to stay grounded and avoid the extremes of anger.
- How to express anger in a healthy powerful and respectful manner.
- Connect with others who are working on the same thing you are.
- Lowered isolation. You aren’t alone working on this.
The Healing Anger Groups for Women run approximately every 8 weeks and are held online. The next dates for women will run over 6 weeks, for 12 hours online. There is now an advanced group available for graduates as well. Click here to go to the Shop Page for more.

One important strategy to deal with anger is to pause and think before acting. This can help us understand why we feel the way we do and see the situation from a broader perspective. Unfortunately some people become stuck in their reactiveness, they become defensive and then continue to struggle to control their anger, but others are willing to learn more about their anger and find ways to manage it better. If you’re someone who wants to make a change and get help, Moose Anger Management can support you. Call us at 604-723-5134, or email us at [email protected] to learn more.
