I believe that you are the expert on your own life. I am simply here to hold space, ask the right questions, and support you through your mental health journey. I take a Bio-Psycho-Social approach in counselling. Those are just fancy words to say, I believe we are holistic beings and everything that happens in our mind, body, and soul is important and impacts every other area of our life and relationships. In sessions, we explore together what has impacted your mind, body, and soul and how we can make things better for you to live a happy, healthy, and meaningful life.

I tailor my approaches to your needs and comfort level. While I have worked with many different issues, most of my work has focused on anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. Some of the tools I often use in sessions include EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, CBT approaches, Solution-Focused Therapy, psycho-somatic approaches, EFT, ACT, psycho-analytic approaches, and Narrative therapy.

There are many theories and tools that can be used in therapy. However, the most important tool is the therapeutic connection between the counsellor and the client. It is only when you feel safe, heard, understood, and respected that the most meaningful and effective psychological work takes place. I empower you to become the expert on your own life and come alongside you to provide guidance, support, and the necessary tools to do your inner work.
